In particular the occupations of the residents, what families remained in Hullbridge over the years and the merging of High Elms with Hullbridge into the village boundaries of present times.

In A History of the County of Essex Vol 2 pub:1907 on page 351 a table exists displaying the population of Rochford Hundred 1801-1901. Hullbridge does not appear independantly but is included in Hockley whose acreage is shown to be 4474. The population of every decade is as follows:-
