These transcriptions allow you to see many things concerning the populace of the village and the surrounding area. In particular the occupations of the residents, what families remained in Hullbridge over the years and the merging of High Elms with Hullbridge into the village boundaries of present times.

In A History of the County of Essex Vol 2 pub:1907 on page 351 a table exists displaying the population of Rochford Hundred 1801-1901. Hullbridge does not appear independantly but is included in Hockley whose acreage is shown to be 4474. The population of every decade is as follows:-
